An earthquake of 3.7 degrees on the open Richter scale magnitude was recorded at the 00.54 hours deeste Monday with its epicenter in the Alicante Town of Alguena, as reported by the National Geographic Institute (IGN). The seismic movement, which was felt by inhabitants of villages close to the epicenter, did not cause personal injury nor material, said the Civil Guard. According to IGN, the earthquake located at Alguena, located in the southwest of the province of Alicante, in the comarca of Vinalopo Medio, was detected at a superficial depth of 11 kilometres, with 38.34 latitude degrees and longitude 0.1 degrees. Little less than an hour later, the 01.45 h, there was another earthquake in the murcian town of Abanilla with a magnitude of 1.6 degrees on the open Richter scale, according to IGN. The 112 emergency phone received 95 calls related with the earthquake of neighbours Albatera, Aspe, Callosa de Segura, Crevillent, Elche, Hondon de los Frailes, Monforte del Cid, Monovar, Novelda and Pinoso. The month of June the town of Santa Pola, Alicante registration two earthquake days 8 and 14, with an intensity of 1.9 and 1.4 degrees respectively.
